How it works for mentors

From applying to getting approved and setting up your sessions and prices, so you’re ready to receive bookings.

  1. 1

    Apply to become a mentor

Go to Become a mentor and complete the application. You’ll provide your profile (photo, bio, expertise, LinkedIn), experience, and agree to our mentor agreement and code of conduct. Submit the form to send your application for review.

  2. 2

    Get approved

We review your application. When you’re approved, your profile is published and mentees can find and book you. You’ll get an email when your account is approved. Until then, your dashboard will show that your account is under review. You can still complete your profile and set up sessions so you’re ready to go live.

  3. 3

    Complete your profile

In your dashboard, go to Profile (or Settings) and make sure your bio, expertise, and professional details are up to date. A complete profile helps mentees choose you and is required before you can be approved. You can edit it anytime.

  4. 4

    Set up sessions and prices

In your dashboard, go to Sessions. Choose which session types you want to offer (e.g. introductory call, resume feedback, career strategy) and set the duration and price for each. You can pick from suggested templates or create custom sessions. Mentees see these on your profile and book the one they want. A platform fee of 15% applies to each completed session; you receive the remainder. If you still haven’t published any session types a week after approval, we send a weekly email reminder until you publish at least one.

  5. 5

Set up payouts (optional before first booking)

To get paid, connect a Stripe account in Earnings. You’ll add your bank details securely on Stripe. You can do this before or after your first booking; once a session is marked complete, earnings go to your balance and are paid out when your balance reaches at least $10.

Ready to receive bookings?

Once you’re approved and your sessions are set up, mentees can book you. For how to handle each booking (confirm or decline, add your availability and meeting link, hold the session, and get paid), see Handling bookings.
