How Proxima Mentor Works

A simple guide to finding mentors, booking sessions, and becoming a mentor yourself.

What is Proxima Mentor?

Proxima Mentor is a mentorship platform that connects aspiring professionals with experienced mentors across industries. Whether you want career guidance, interview prep, resume feedback, or ongoing support, you can book 1-on-1 video sessions with vetted mentors from top companies. No long-term commitment required. Book one session or many, depending on your goals.

How mentees find mentors

  1. Browse: Go to the mentors page and filter by expertise, location, or search by keyword.
  2. Choose a session: Each mentor offers session types (e.g. introductory call, career strategy) with clear pricing.
  3. Book and pay: Pick a time, pay securely, and get a confirmed booking with your video call link.
  4. Meet and grow: Join the 1-on-1 call, get tailored advice, and book again when you need more.

How mentors apply

Experienced professionals can apply to become mentors. You submit your profile (photo, bio, expertise, LinkedIn, experience) and agree to our Code of Conduct and Mentor Agreement. Applications are reviewed. Once approved, you set your session types and pricing, manage your availability, and receive booking requests from mentees. A 15% platform fee applies to each completed session; you keep the rest.
