Handling bookings
How to handle each booking: confirm or decline, add your availability and meeting link, hold the session, and get paid.

Mentee books a session
You get an email, and the request appears in your dashboard under Bookings as Pending.

Confirm or decline
In Bookings, review the request and choose Confirm or Decline. Once payment is confirmed, you can confirm or reject the booking. After you confirm, the booking becomes a confirmed session and the mentee is notified.

Add an availability link and a meeting link
After you confirm, add two links for that booking so the mentee can pick a time and join the call:
- Availability link: e.g. a Google Calendar appointment schedule so they can choose a time that works for both of you.
- Meeting link: e.g. a Google Meet link for the actual call. You can create a new meeting and paste the link, or add the Meet link to the calendar invite.
When you click Google Calendar appointment schedule:
- Sign in to Google if asked, then open or create an Appointment schedule.
- Set the times you’re available (e.g. weekdays 9–5). Save the schedule.
- Copy the schedule’s shareable link (e.g. “Copy link” or “Share” in the schedule settings).
- Paste that link into the Availability link field for the booking in your Bookings page. The mentee will use it to pick a time.
You set both links in Bookings for each confirmed session. The mentee will see them on their booking and can use them to schedule and join.

Hold the session and mark complete
At the scheduled time, meet via your meeting link. After the session, mark the booking as Complete in Bookings. The mentee gets confirmation and the session earnings are added to your balance.

Get paid
Once a session is marked complete, your share of the session fee is added to your balance. You can see your balance, total earnings, and payout history in Earnings.
To receive payouts, connect a Stripe account in Earnings (you’ll add your bank details securely on Stripe). Payouts run when your balance reaches at least $10 and are processed periodically by the platform. We’ll email you when a payout is processed.
